Records Management Steering Committee
The Records Management Roundtable Steering Committee is a hard working group
committed to serving
the archival and records management communities. The
Steering Committee is always looking for new
members and newideas, please
consider joining us. Records Management Roundtable Steering
Committee
members assist in the between-meeting development and activities of the roundtable.
This includes, but is
not limited to: providing input on matters placed before the
roundtable by the SAA Council and staff; providing
guidance and advice to the
chair and vice-chair on matters pertaining to the administration of the roundtable
promoting roundtable activities within their institutions, state and local professional
associations, and communities;
contributing time to the projects and other endeavors
of the roundtable; submitting articles for publication in the
roundtable newsletter;
and performing other duties as necessitated by the business of the roundtable.
Commitment
times vary for steering committee members. Members are asked to
keep diligent watch on their email accounts, as
most roundtable business is
conducted via email and prompt responses are required for most steering
committee
business. Steering committee memberships are for one (1) year,
from annual meeting to annual meeting. Get involved!!!!
