Conservation Online(CoOL)
CoOLis a project of the Preservation Department of Stanford University Libraries and contains a comprehensive listing of resources for those involved with the conservation of library, archives, and museum materials.

Australian National Botanic Gardens Disaster preparedness information
Includes sources of disaster preparedness information including Disaster Plans from various institutions

European Information Preservation Center
A gateway for information on work directed at the preservation of the documentary heritage in Europe: first of all paper-based materials, but also sound, film, photographs, and digital archives.

National Information Standards Organization (NISO)
Develops and promotes technical standards used in a wide variety of information services. NISO is a nonprofit association accredited as a standards developer by the American National Standards Institute, the national clearinghouse for voluntary standards development in the U.S.

Library of Congress Preservation
The preservation procedures described at this site have been used by the Library of Congress in the care of its collections and are considered suitable by the Library as described. American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Work (AIC)

Preservation Newsletters

Abbey Publications

Commission on Preservation and Access Newsletters Published from 1988-1997, reports on cooperative national and international preservation activities and was written primarily for university administrators and faculty, library and archives administrators, preservation specialists and administrators, and representatives of consortia, governmental bodies, and other groups sharing in the Commission's goals. The Newsletter is not copyrighted; its duplication and distribution are encouraged.
