groups within the Society of American Archivists allow members to connect

and/or objectives. Groups also address matters of special concern to the association.

Each roundtable is centered around a specific archival topic.
Task

forces are given specific charges to study and evaluate certain issues,
prepare reports and study documents, and, when deemed appropriate, make
recommendations for action by Council.

and meet each year at the SAA annual meeting.
SAA Student
Chapters (Guidelines

SAA
student chapters serve as a means of introducing new archivists into the
profession, as well as enhancing education by providing an additional
focus for students to discuss archival issues, identify with the profession,
and engage in professional activities.
