Biography

Kevin holds an M.L.S. from the University at Albany, SUNY; an M.A. in medieval studies from Western Michigan University; and a B.A. in history from Ohio University. Kevin became Yale's first Electronic Records Archivist in 2002 and has spent the last year assessing Yale's current electronic records landscape; formulating policies and procedures; beginning the implementation of an active records management application; and working toward a long-term preservation repository system.

Since 1999, he has been involved with InterPARES: the International Research Project on Permanent Authentic Records in Electronic Systems. He is currently Chair of the InterPARES 2 focus on records of scientific activities.
