Description:

Legacy finding aids were rekeyed from typed copies or "cut and paste" from Word files using Internet Archivist (briefly) and NoteTab Pro. In 2005, 270 finding aids were outsourced for conversion.

Encoding Procedure:

Currently, inventories as well as full scale finding aids are created in XML (NoteTab).

Delivery Mechanism:

HTML versions are generated from the XML and made available in alphabetic (a-z by title) and subject (collecting area) lists with links, generated from database that also provides a brief description, size, unique identifer, and dates.
