EAD Bibliography

The EAD Help Pages EAD Bibliography attempts to be a comprehensive list of published works on Encoded Archival Description and its use. The bibliography was generated largely from the Library Literature (WilsonWeb) and Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts (LISTA – EBSCOhost) databases. It does not include EAD technical documentation or web pages.

The EAD Bibliography is organized into four lists: EAD Articles, EAD Related Articles, EAD Books, and EAD Reviews. EAD Articles includes articles directly pertaining to EAD and its application, use, and dissemination. EAD Related Articles includes articles mentioning EAD in the context of related issues and technologies. The other two lists include books published on EAD and reviews of books and websites related to EAD.

Much has been written about Encoded Archival Description, and this bibliography is certainly not complete. If you have additions or corrections, please contact Michael Rush (michael.rush@yale.edu).
