National Archives and Records Administration (Washington, DC) - NARA does not offer individual travel or research grants, but does offer other types of assistance: The National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) is a statutory body affiliated with NARA which provides grants that support a wide range of activities to preserve, publish, and encourage the use of documentary sources relating to the history of the United States. The Commission offers assistance to non-Federal agencies and institutions.
