Conditions of Access: Publications and other nonconfidential materials created for external dissemination are open to all researchers.  Public access to internal ETS records is usually restricted for at least 25 years from the date of their creation, unless permission is authorized.  Permission is also required for scholarly access to business records.

Holdings:  The ETS Archives currently has approximately 2,300 cubic feet of material dating from 1810 to the present with the majority of the material dating from 1947 to the present.

Description:  The ETS Archives documents the origins and development of the organization in its collection of business records, manuscripts, photographs, oral histories, and published works.  Included in the collections are records of predecessor organization involved in testing and collections of significant individuals outside of ETS involved in education and / or psychology.
