Cooperative Preservation of Architectural Records

COPAR was established in 1973 to encourage the preservation of records threatened with loss or destruction, and to serve as a national and international clearinghouse of information on the location, preservation, and cataloging of these documents.   To achieve these goals COPAR offers guidelines for the formation of local and state groups otherwise known as Committees.
