 Karen Benedict
Holds an M.L.S. degree with an emphasis in Archives Administration
. She is an SAA Fellow and over the
past 25 years has been actively involved in SAA leadership including Council.
She has been the SAA representative to
the International Council on Archives and serves as the Chairperson for the
Committee on Professional Ethics.
Her numerous publications include two books
related to this important topic: Archival Ethics, Managing Archives
and Archival Institutions: A Handbook of Theories and Practices; and, Ethics
and the Archival Profession: Introduction and Case Studies.
