Archival Outlook
Editorial Policy
Archival Outlook updates members on important business of the Society
of American Archivists and on the work of its many committees, sections, boards,
and task forces; and reports regional, national, and international news of
relevance to the North American archival profession. Regular columns include "Bulletin
Board" (a running calendar of meetings, workshops, seminars, funding,
call for papers);"Currents" (members' position appointments, professional
achievements and honors); "Professional Opportunities" (job announcements); "Illuminations" (how-to
information); as well as lengthier features.
Archival Outlook is published bimonthly: January/February, March/April,
May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December. Deadlines
for editorial content are the fifth of the month preceding publication (i.e.,
the deadline for the January/February issue is December 5). The newsletter
has a circulation of 3,400
