Tower Research Capital, a New York hedge fund, seeks someone to archive the company's current collection of reference information and to develop a mechanism for storing new information. As a rapidly-expanding company, Tower has amassed a wealth of documents, data sources, market information and connectivity, portfolio optimizers, regression tools, sample code, and other resources. The archivist will develop a clear, intuitive framework to hold this information, in a way that is useful to the company as a whole.
The successful candidate will be familiar with computer programming, and will understand what source codes and libraries are. He or she won't need to write code from scratch, but must be able to archive it successfully.
While this job could fill up a full-time schedule, we are willing to consider more experienced candidates on a part-time basis.
