The Vietnam Center and Archive at Texas Tech University is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Archivist/Oral Historian. This is a full-time, tenure-track position. Review of applications will begin March 21, 2008.

Preferred Qualifications include a graduate degree in history, library science, or related field and experience conducting oral history interviews.

Reporting to the Head of the Oral History Project, the oral historian will conduct interviews with individuals involved in various aspects of the Vietnam War Era. He/she will also conduct research, maintain project records, and participate in outreach activities.
