The University of Texas at Arlington Library invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Archivist for University, Labor and Political Collections. The successful candidate will hold an ALA-accredited master's degree or M.A. in history or a field related to the collections. Holders of a master's degree other than the ALA-accredited master's must have completed coursework in archives studies and/or attained an archival certificate or membership in the Academy of Certified Archivists. Security sensitive job; criminal background check conducted. Applications received by February 29, 2008, will be assured of consideration. Minimum starting salary is $40,000.
