  • Grows Collection - Accessioning, logging in, organizing and cataloging.
  • Serves Patrons - Answers inquiries concerning field materials from internal personnel and outside users.
  • Serves Patrons - Main Library Reference Desk .Accepts new deposits; determines appropriateness by following internal guidelines and policies.
  • Compiles inventories of individual deposits following NARA guidelines .Readies deposits for transfer to NARA
  • Updates existing inventories
  • Physically transfers deposits NARA
  • Updates Field Records Webpage

Field Records Collection consists of; archive of field notes, correspondences, unpublished manuscripts and maps, analysis reports and other data created or collected by USGS scientists.

Preferred:
Master Library Science

Required:
Geology or Earth Science background
