The photograph archives of the Smithsonian American Art

the only visual documentation of an altered, damaged, or lost original. Major collections include the Peter A
Juley and Son Collection (the Juley firm was the largest fine arts photography
firm in New York, active from 1907 to 1975) and the Walter Rosenblum Collection
(7,500 images documenting the American art scene from 1945 to 1970). (Limited to 20 people. Offices are located at 750 Ninth Street, NW, Suite
3100, one block north of the
Museum. Metro: Gallery Place via
the Red, Green, or Yellow Lines.
Meet at 10:30 in the Lobby.)
