Archival Solidarity, a project of the International
Council on Archives (ICA), aims to coordinate, facilitate, and initiate efforts
in the international archives community to carry out foreign assistance projects
for developing communities and communities in transition. This meeting will be
an open forum for exchange of information on how American archival groups and
archivists can initiate or get involved with international development projects
and partnerships, and how to further this involvement. The meeting follows up
discussions that were initiated at New Orleans 2005.
