Those who have a Ph.D. tend to be Professor/Teachers. Over half of the Librarians have an MLS. Many have spent several years in archival employment, a few over 30. While 1/3 have been members of SAA for less than 3 years, 3/4 of the Professors/Teachers have been members for over 10 years as have 1/3 of the Consultants. This group tends to be largely female except for records managers and professors/teachers. (Table 36)
