| Table 22 compares some of the demographic characteristics
of the 6 job categories. Overall, the median age is 45. It is apparent that Assistant
Archivists are significantly younger and Managers and Supervisors are significantly older
than the average. Most archivists at the senior level and above have people reporting to
them. Overall, the most frequent contact is with people making reference inquiries
followed by other archivists in other agencies. Managers, Senior Archivists and
Supervisors do have frequent contact with donors and Managers have frequent contact with
vendors. |
